Clover Autos are not local to me. However, I was highly recommended after my regular mechanic was unable to help me with a serious breakdown issue that required specialist knowledge. After over 40 years of driving, this is the first time I have met such a great team of experts. They have literally saved me a fortune, been so patient over hiccups over recovery with my service provider to their premises. Dave kept me informed of issues, possibilities and cost outcomes. “Amazing!”
I dont leave reviews BUT the team at Clover Autos are so amazing they more than deserve it. They literally resurrected my 21 yr old car from the dead.. The car does does at least 20,000 hard miles each year with no tlc from me. They put right all the issues that had been missed elsewhere, some of which were very dangerous. They kept me informed about everything, honest, straightforward and kept it all within a very tight budget. No mean feat in itself. They cannot be beaten.

“Loss of power caused by faulty throttle potentiometer”
I dropped my car off and after explaining the loss of power, was greeted by Ronnie, the owner, who was an extremely polite, professional and understanding man. He treated me as if I was his only customer and asked me lots of questions to help him better understand the problem. He explained a thorough diagnosis would be conducted using a computer and visual inspection to ascertain the problem. He loaned me a hire car(no charge!) and explained he would contact me ASAP with his findings, which he did. The problem was caused by a faulty throttle potentiometer which was changed and the old parts were left in a box in my car; they like to let customers see which parts have been changed. Again Ronnie was extremely polite, professional and not rushed when explaining everything they did in detail. I unhesitatingly recommend Clover Autos for being a breath of fresh air in delivering outstanding customer service in an honest, polite, and professional manner. As a teacher with over 10 years experience delivering customer service courses, I speak with some authority on the subject. Bravo Clover Autos, I will not allow any other mechanic to work on my car, but you.

“Ignition key problem”
I rung clover autos up with a kwy issue already been told by a main dealer you have to book a diagnostic test and if this is the fault it will be £650. So I rung clover auto's explained it to them told me to bring it over which I did sprayed a substance in the lock now works perfectly did not charge me highly recommend superb service 10 / 10 will be using again
