“Repair Work on VW UP”

Our VW Up had a rattling noise on start up but when you press the clutch peddle it disappeared. I took the Car into the Clover Autos for a diagnostic and the mechanics pin pointed the problem and gave me a full breakdown of the work required and the cost for a complete clutch replacement kit. The work was all completed in good time, they provided a very professional service and I will definitely be taking my car back for its service and mot next year. “Scirocco misfire finally cured”

After various attempts by others to cure a misfire at low revs and low throttle opening had all failed I decided to give Clover Autos a try. They did extensive work to sort it out and eventually decided to decoke the inlet ports, this cured the problem. I was delighted that they managed to fix it. It wasn't cheap but they put in a lot of hours and you get what you pay for. Worth it in the end.

With a view to purchase a newer more up to date VW and the need to find a suitable VW affiliated garage I called in on Clovers and spoke to Dave and Ron. They were very helpful and on leaving saw my car, which I'd always looked after and offered to buy it if I didn't accept the trade in. This turned out to be the case and they agreed to give the new car an inspection as part of the purchase. This they did even though my old car promptly broke down on them, causing some inconvenience and no doubt cost. I offered payment for the inspection but they wouldn't hear of it and stuck to our original agreement. While waiting a young lady found out her car had failed its mot due to the screewashers not working, they had tried to resolve it but needed more time and offered to look at it straight away. This level of customer service along with the reviews I've read and my experience thus far gives me plenty of confidence to return to them for any work and services my new car needs in the future.
