“Very impressive service”
We bought our Vauxhall Astra diesel to clover autos with an intermittent engine management fault which are always the most difficult and complex to find. They forensically went through the car systems to isolate and rectify the problem. They kept us informed and explained the technicalities of what they did to rectify the fault in layman's terms that we could understand. I felt completely confident from the professional way they booked our car in through the repair and on to completion, including a very professional and detailed written report of everything they did for the successful repair of this very complex problem I would have no hesitation in recommending this garage and will certainly be giving them any future business

“Repair Work on VW UP”
Our VW Up had a rattling noise on start up but when you press the clutch peddle it disappeared. I took the Car into the Clover Autos for a diagnostic and the mechanics pin pointed the problem and gave me a full breakdown of the work required and the cost for a complete clutch replacement kit. The work was all completed in good time, they provided a very professional service and I will definitely be taking my car back for its service and mot next year. “Scirocco misfire finally cured”
After various attempts by others to cure a misfire at low revs and low throttle opening had all failed I decided to give Clover Autos a try. They did extensive work to sort it out and eventually decided to decoke the inlet ports, this cured the problem. I was delighted that they managed to fix it. It wasn't cheap but they put in a lot of hours and you get what you pay for. Worth it in the end.

It's always helpful when someone writes a review about a good experience at a garage. We first took our car to Clover Autos 20 years ago and we've had 20 years of good experiences with them! During that time, Dave, Ronnie and their select team of experienced mechanics have dealt with every aspect of keeping our cars on the road with complete expertise, trustworthiness and sheer competence. Whether we've booked in for straightforward routine servicing or presented them with a fiendish fault that needs to be hunted down with expert diagnosis, Clover have always fixed everything fully and properly on the first visit and returned our car to us as quickly and efficiently as possible. They have consistently provided superb customer service and quality of work. If you've ever wished you could find a garage you could have complete faith in, you should give them a try!

“Future customer.”
With a view to purchase a newer more up to date VW and the need to find a suitable VW affiliated garage I called in on Clovers and spoke to Dave and Ron. They were very helpful and on leaving saw my car, which I’d always looked after and offered to buy it if I didn’t accept the trade in. This turned out to be the case and they agreed to give the new car an inspection as part of the purchase. This they did even though my old car promptly broke down on them, causing some inconvenience and no doubt cost. I offered payment for the inspection but they wouldn’t hear of it and stuck to our original agreement. While waiting a young lady found out her car had failed its mot due to the screewashers not working, they had tried to resolve it but needed more time and offered to look at it straight away. This level of customer service along with the reviews I’ve read and my experience thus far gives me plenty of confidence to return to them for any work and services my new car needs in the future. “Repair”
I had noticed a drumming noise from a front wheel when driving my Volvo XC 70 for some time. I took it into Clover Autos (who my wife and I have used for many years). A test drive confirmed a damaged wheel bearing but I was told that I could safely continue to drive until it got worse. I was then due to be away for a week and they suggested that I should leave the car with them and they would fit new hubs and bearings on both front wheels. The work was completed whilst we were away and they delivered the car to my home. All very efficient and the charge for the work seemed very reasonable and certainly less than I would have been charged by a Volvo agent.

These guys really deliver to ensure the job is done efficiently, safely and in reasonable time frame; reducing inconvenience whilst you are without your vehicle.
